I am not sure where to start, because the movie is so much content heavy. I’m still processing this movie. It is so hard to answer the difficult questions this movie poses. I am an advocate of the idea that Movies play a role in shaping people. It might not be suitable for other countries but for India and for most Indians, movies and TV Series are the major part of their entertainment. No, I’m not blaming these mediums for the crimes in our country but people tend to take bad things faster than the good ones. I’m still battling to come to a conclusion if this movie really will be taken as an inspiration. The complete review is available here.
Science Fiction is one of the Genres with which I’m always in awe. Although I haven’t read much of Sci-Fi books I kinda know the pattern of stories and the world they build. The Sci-fi stories are mostly set up in the future, they are dystopian mostly, one power control freak who is either a human or an AI, someone is raised to the occasion which questions or threatens the authority. These are mostly how Sci-fi books are designed but What I really love about these is the way the authors somehow foresee the future, they predict technologies that are fascinating.
Directed by Prabu Jeyaram where the director tries to give his take on tweaking reservation and that’s the second half of the story. Maybe the Director should have thought let’s try out talking about every hot topic and see how people react, then let’s see how it goes?
Son of Batman animated movie is based on the Batman and Son (2006) storyline written by Grant Morrison and Andy Kubert. I haven’t read this Comic but it was interesting to see “The World’s famous Detective” didn’t know that he had a 10-year-old son (approx.). I’m not sure whether it was a mistake or Ra’s Al Ghul and Talia Al Ghul were good at keeping secrets from Batman?
